Nationale Suisse faced Facebook spying accusations after terminating an employee because of a Facebook post. The employee had called in sick and felt free to enjoy her day off with no idea that a simple Facebook post would lead to her termination. The ex-employee alleged that Nationale Suisse sends friend requests to employees from bogus accounts for the purpose of gaining access to private information they only want their friends to see.
