Teen singing sensation Rebecca Black got her big break earlier this year when her video Friday went viral on You Tube and got over 112,000,000 views before she submitted a copyright complaint for some reason. A lot of people liked the video, but if the You Tube numbers are right most people disliked it. The video got over 2,000,000 dislikes from You Tube users compared to just 300,000 likes for a ration of over 6 dislikes for every like.
Unfortunately some people hated the video so much that they started sending death threats to Black in email and phone calls. The police take people threatening the life of a 13 year old girl seriously, but have not made any arrests. Hopefully by going on tv and saying they take threats seriously people will get the point that no music video is worth killing over.
In less serious incidents people have subjected Black to relentless bullying attacks against her vocal abilities and appearance. In the news interview embedded on this page Black says that some of the meanest comments shes received include "I hope you cut yourself" and "I hope you get an eating disorder so that you look pretty".
