Russell Crowe bashed a pregnant lady on Twitter earlier this month after she asked him whether or not her son should be circumcised, but she didn't say circumcised. Instead the user named picknic11 asked "Do you think I should get him circumstanced?" to which Crowe responded "Here's a life rule, if you can't spell it, don't do it." He then elaborated by by telling the fan not to do it because the practice is barbaric and stupid before adding that his two sons were born perfect and should not be tampered with. Crowe then engaged in a series of profane rants against users who defended the practice.
Some of Russell Crowe's Twitter exchanges were as follows:
Hodanismail: there's actually a scientific reason for it
Russell Crowe: My friend, "human" science has caused too much damage, don't be a moron
BarackMcBush: It's more hygienic and nobody remembers it
Russell Crowe: Hygienic? Why don't you sew up your a** then?
Crowe then went on to make comments in support of users who compared circumcision to sexual mutilation until one user said "Honestly you are comparing sexual mutilation with a Jewish ceremonial act?" To which Crowe replied "Can you actually read the words you just typed "a ceremonial act"? F**K that. The Mayans had ceremonial acts too." He then went to say that he didn't mean to offend Jews and that he has "Many Jewish friends, I love my Jewish friends, I love the apples and the honey and the funny little hats but stop cutting your babies @eliroth."
Crowe continued to fight with various people before finally having enough and saying "Last of it, if you feel it is your right to cut things off your babies please unfollow and f**k off, I'll take attentive parenting over barbarism". A few days later Crowe had a change of heart and apologized for his outbursts, but still says that he does not support circumcision.
