Symone Fisher Changed Her Name While Stalking Derek Fisher

In 2009 Lakers point guard Derek Fisher took out a restraining order against Symone Fisher, a 40 year old woman in Los Angeles who changed her last name to Fisher before claiming to be the real Mrs. Fisher on MySpace. The woman had been stalking him online and in real life for several years.

At first she started sending him love letters via email, calling him on the phone, and having love songs mailed to the Lakers practice facility. Eventually she started showing up at various Lakers events and followed him home, so Derek Fisher filed for a restraining order to keep Symone Fisher away from his kids.

According to court documents Symone Fisher claimed to have had an ongoing relationship with Derek Fisher and to have bore his children. Derek Fisher says that he had never heard of the woman before she started stalking him and that they have no relationship.
