Florida Gator cornerback Jacques Rickerson was arrested for cyberstalking, battering, and strangling a woman. The woman survived just like the one that got him kicked off of the University of Florida football team back in 2008 after hitting her in the face, choking her, and pushing her face into mattress with a pillow when she tried to scream for help. Media reports about the incident didn't go into much detail about the basis for the cyberstalking charge, but given the fact that in preceded a physical encounter I going to out on a limb and make an educated guess that he probably used some kind of reverse directory to locate his victim before strangling her and probably send some kind of harassing messages before hand.

Rickerson also got arrested in 2007 for Marijuana possession, was sentenced to community service, and suspended for a game by the Florida Gators. His new charges include a felony for assault and a misdemeanor for cyberstalking.

It turns out recruiting felons is nothing new to the Florida Gators football program. With 24 players recruited by Ron Zook or Urban Meyer its starting to look like Florida targets more jail bait than most sex offenders do no matter who the coach is.
