Isabel Macdonald Smeared Lou Dobbs in The Nation Magazine

The Nation Magazine published a smear piece written by Isabel Macdonald called "Lou Dobbs, American Hypocrite" in October of 2010 making it appear that Lou Dobbs was employing illegal aliens to take care of his property and show horses. The article failed to mention that the illegal aliens in question were employed by subcontractors hired by The Dobbs Group who agreed in advance not to hire illegals, but did so anyway and never told The Dobbs Group about the illegal aliens working there until it was too late. By the time Dobbs realized what was happening he had already been smeared by liberal news organizations and bloggers too blinded by their hatred for Dobbs to look for the truth.

Luckily for Dobbs he was able to confront these accusations head on by debating Macdonald on the air and making it clear that he didn’t know about the illegal aliens working on his property. Her frequent backtracking proved that like most cyberbullies she did a great job smearing away from her keyboard, but wasn’t so tough when called out and forced to confront her victim face to face on Lou Dobbs’s radio show. In the end she backtracked herself from exposure of hypocrisy to exposed hypocrite.
