Local authorities might have to be notified.

okay firstly guys this person said "another child death BY IGNORANT PARENT" this is hardly a threat, sounded more like sarcasm to me, then i looked around at your... lovely... site, and found what she was responding to. seems someone over there said something about her being up til 3 defending herself and that she would be asleep all day instead of watching her kid, and another person said something about a chick that left her kid in the car while playing a game. i've got it screencapped. she was being sarcastic, and frankly you guys are taking it too far.

I reported her because I fear for the child. All jokes, and issues of "stolen intellectual property" aside, a child could be at danger and you don't know whether the child is or isn't, Gojira. The social services tagline isn't "It's better to be safe than sorry" for nothing.

You can go back to the board and read the my change in mood and reaction for yourself once I read that. You as a parent shouldn't even be "joking" about killing your child. Yes, that was cause for alarm for me. The thought that ANY child is in danger is serious and in this case I forwarded the image YOU made with YOUR words, independent of anything I might have said. Child Services was founded on the "Better safe than sorry" belief.

I deserve to have my baby taken away from me because of a sarcastic remark made in response to a "sarcastic" post you guys posted? I was lying! His father isn't even around, first of all, and secondly, I never threatened my child. I never even implied that I was going to hurt him; the fact that his father isn't around makes the entire statement null, since he was in my custody the entire time. And since my mother was here all day, she can confirm that I did not "sleep all day" and neglect my child.

In my opinion there's some chemistry between antebellum13 and JohnnyTruant. Antebellum13, you have to remember that guys react different when they like a girl, then girls do when they like a boy. Like I said, I viewed the image a second time and read the watermark carefully. The thing about the d!ckhead was put at the bottom in a clearer color and font that makes it the first easily readable thing of the image. Like I said, go back to the board and view the cyber bully thread and you'll see my change in reaction and mood. I reported you because it was a potential threat you made against your own child. I hope it was only a "joke" for the child's sake because if you were serious then there is something very, very wrong with you.

I called the agency and gave them my side. They were "very interested" to hear about how you all posted every bit of information you get get your hands on to your site, and how The Mailer took it upon himself to post my IP and email address. I hope you know that doing that is illegal.

BlondDanishGuy, if you're just another person from supermensa, I really can't handle someone else screwing with me. If you think I haven't been bawling my eyes out for the past two hours because I'm freaking out thinking someone is going to take my baby away, you're all wrong. I reported to this site because of the personal info (IP address and email) that had been posted. Yeah, I screwed up some of the details, at least I admit that.

Until you're the one being bullied, Danish, then you won't understand what it feels like to think you've got to do something to stick up for yourself. I didn't think it would come to this. I didn't want them to say all that stuff. But when someone posts all that info, and sure, anyone could find it, but who would actually try it to that extent? I felt like I had to protect myself. And what have I done that's illegal? Find one thing. I forwarded them statements that you made verbatim. I didn't do something like doctor and image then forward it to them saying "HEY! Most victims of cyberbullying do stupid things like what I did. They respond with their own nasty names, their own empty threats, etc. But they're STILL the victim.

The Child Services will not take your child just because of a report someone who has never even met you, made. They don't just remove kids based on a joke or a picture. They don't remove them unless there's something seriously wrong. If you beat the shat out of your kid, or live in a filthy house or whatever, then it might be an issue.

Yeah, I do blame you for jumping to conclusions when you're accusing someone of doing something illegal and you don't even have a basis to state that claim only that "You jumped in with them". I defended them. I didn't post her personal info or get involved beyond trying to explain the common logic of the situation until I read something I felt could be threatening towards a child. If I read some horror story in a newspaper, I usually don't give a shat. So what you do with your child, is none of my concern. I care about African children that are starving as well though, but only because of all the emotionally touching videos and pictures I've seen of them.

People on supermensa have openly admitted to bringing people to tears. They proudly proclaimed that they "bullied the cyber police." As for knowing the backstory. Does anybody know the backstory other than the site itself? The common passersby will see it and only see the scathing remarks.
