Report #: 119 - 1 Comment
Date Reported: Wednesday, June 1, 2011
Status: Past Incident
Severity: Low - Private Harassment
Primary Weapon: Text Messaging
Specific Location: 1800 Sheepshead Bay Rd. in Brooklyn
City/Local Area: New York City
State/Territory: New York
Region: United States

After what Congressman Anthony Weiner called a hacking of his Twitter account a young college woman named Gennette Cordova who Weiner was following on Twitter received a picture of a bulging brief covered crotch from Anthony Weiner's Twitter account. Normally such a serious criminal accusation would be investigated by the FBI immediately, but Congressman Weiner has not yet filed a complaint and seems completely uninterested in tracking down the perpetrator. This has made many speculate that he may have sent the picture himself or someone he knows sent it without his permission.

In the CNN video below you can see Weiner dodging questions about the picture and comparing the incident to someone trowing a pie at him in an audience. Then he gets defensive and calls one of the reporters a "j*ckass" before going on to discuss the debt limit while continuing to dodge questions about the crotch picture.

The crotch picture was deleted from Twitter shortly after it was posted, so nobody really knows what it looks like. People should give him the benefit of the doubt, but his body language in the video on this page is not a good indicator for the Congressman so far.

UPDATE: Congressman Weiner eventually admitted on June 6, 2011 that he did send explicit pictures of himself to several young women and that his accounts were never hacked. It is not clear if any of his pictures actually included Weiner's wiener. This report has been reclassified as a past incident of private harassment for what Weiner did to those women.

The original video from CNN has been replaced with his confession.
