Ascham School staff member Frances Booth admitted to stalking underage girls online with the help of software created by the internet monitoring company SR7. Booth is the director of students for Australian grades 11 and 12 which translates to high school juniors and seniors in American grades where students are typically between 16 and 18 years old. Her activities are part of a larger effort by the school run by Headmistress Louise Robert-Smith to stalk children in lower grades from 15 year old sophomores all the way down to 5 year old kids newly admitted to the kindergarten at the all girls boarding school.

Ascham School has a strict rule against the use of social networking sites on school property, but crosses the line from strict staff to cyber stalkers by doing every thing it can to spy on girls at home. This means that even if an Ascham girl goes home for a break the school will stalk her every move online with the help of SR7 software built to troll the web for anything possibly related to her. Booth justified her actions by telling the Brisbane Times "We monitor the girls' usage of the internet both internally and externally, not because we want to stop them but because we want them to use it in a safe manner".

Cyberbullying Report is not aware of any protest from the stalked girls or their parents as of yet, but for invading the lives of underage girls in their homes and in a manner most likely to be unwanted Cyberbullying Report has classified Louise Robert-Smith, Frances Booth, SR7, and anyone else who knowingly helps they carry out acts of cyberstalking as cyber stalkers. Victims of Ascham are welcome to post the names of any additional collaborators in the comment boards on this forum or make new posts if the stalking becomes exceptionally bad.

Jesus would not approve of teachers using the internet to spy on kids. That is God's job and he has been doing since the beginning of time.

It turns out this isn't the first time Ascham has made headlines due to internet abuse. In 2009 it was the students themselves who were at fault using the internet to cyber bully a student in what was labeled a sex scandal by the media. In the incident a bunch of year 9 (high school freshmen) girls had their names smeared on MySpace and other sites. The postings included accusations of sexual misconduct described in graphic detail some of which are available in the video below. Booth cited cyberbullying as one of the reasons why she became a cyber stalker.
