Brandon Michael Fleury was convicted of posting threats on Instagram and cyberstalking charges. Fleury created fake Instagram accounts to harass families of Parkland shooting victims. He used aliases like that of the shooter Nicholas Cruz to troll the families by claiming to be Cruz and taking credit for killing their loved ones. He also threatened to kidnap them.


Nicholas Cruz murdered 17 students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida in 2018.
