Why is it that whenever someone suggests that the anti-fascist narrative is incorrect that that person is automatically labeled a fascist by anti-fascist supporters? Maybe it is because the Antifa movement has more in common with real fascism than the people they oppose. That seems to be the cases lately, especially when it comes to the Jeremy Christian case in Portland, Oregon. It seems ever since speaking out against the government's handling of the case I have been called a fascist countless times.
In one such case someone going by the name of William Carter on Facebook sent a message to the Jeremy Christian Trial Facebook page that said simply "Fascists eat shit!" I am not a fascist, but just for creating that page Mr. Carter obviously thinks I am one. That is because the media falsely labels Jeremy Christian as a white supremacist and the people he was recently convicted of stabbing included at least one known member of Antifa. Therefore people assume he is a white supremacist and that the only reason anyone could possibly have for supporting him in any way is that they are white supremacist fascists themselves.
The truth is that while doing time with Jeremy, I heard how inaccurate the public narrative was and to my surprise I have yet to catch him in a lie. The motive for the stabbing was clearly that Mr. Christian was outnumbered three to one while one of the men kept throwing him on the ground. That is why he started stabbing people. I never said he did the right thing, but Jeremy has autism and as a result didn't have all the marbles one normally needs to make the best decision in a situation like that. I advocated for the lesser charge of manslaughter, but people including the jury cared more about whether or not Jeremy is racist. Since he is a little racist, but not full blown white supremacist racist, that was all the leftist jury needed to convict him on all counts.
I am not a fascist, but I am person interested in the truth and the correct application of the law. The correct application of the law is the application of law as it is written. The law is not applied correctly when people decide what they want the outcome to be and do all they can within their authority to obtain it without regard for the written law.
