CopBlaster.com received a racist and insulting email today in response to our efforts to hold police officers accountable for their actions. The author appeared to be upset about Cop Blaster's support of the Black Lives Matter movement and our opposition to acts of racism perpetrated by law enforcement. The email read as follows:
"Hey there!
I just wanted to say you guys do a fantastic job painting niggers in a positive light. Keep up the good work being a useful idiot.

Will Chun.

We are not sure where the author of the email is located. It was submitted through our contact form, so we do not have an IP address for the author. The author is using a Gmail account and Google is of course in California, so we listed California as the location because of that nexus.
We responded to his message as follows:
"Thanks, we appreciate being told when our work makes a difference." - CopBlaster.com
We have not received a response from William Chun, but we also did not receive any sort of bounce back message from Google. That means that the email address is in fact a real email address, so if this author was in fact the owner of the email address given and that owner really is named Will Chun then Will Chun is racist.
While we are happy to hear that our work is making a difference, we are disappointed to receive that news is such form. We will continue to paint people of color is a positive light and hopefully that will be noticed enough that as long as such racism exists we will continue to receive emails like this one.
