I am a college professor and have begun using certain books as teaching tools in my classes. For example, the book which related to the person cyber bullied by this Darren Ambler proved very useful for my Thursday class. Chapter's 3 and 5 clearly list legal statutes and how they are applied in stalking cases. Students have a great deal to learn by referring to this book. On line computer crime/ bullying is still a very big problem throughout the world. It is also interesting to read about how this person was stalked by someone who was supposed to be a friend at one time??
). Be careful what you do on line because it may come back to haunt you.
). NO- a person can not do whatever they want on-line especially if it constitutes on-line harassment, bullying and other offenses.
). Do not use the internet/ and or on-line forums to vent anger or seek revenge against another person.
). Never think that your on-line activities can't be traced, because they can.
). IP- ISP information is the best evidence when proving a Cyber Stalking/ On-Line Harassment case. It can not be disputed. Very cut and dry "so to speak".
). Never attempt to take a bullying case into your own hands. Report it immediately to proper authorities.
). Obtaining competent legal counsel is key if you are pursuing a case against a cyber stalker.
). Never attempt to contact your cyber stalker directly. Stalkers can be very dangerous and irrational. You can not reason with a stalker.
